All korahi dishes are made with special medium spicy thick sauce, with onion, tomato & capsicum, served from an iron wok.
Originating from the punjab side of India. Balti is the name in which the food is cooked, similar to an iron wok. This allows the food to blend well and gives a fuller flavour. Traditionally the food of the village people but has since been enhanced & enjoyed all over the world. Any dish of your choice can be made as a balti.

We’ve been looking for a new Indian takeaway since we moved last year and can’t believe we hadn’t found Downham Tandoori sooner! The food was amazing, we were both very impressed with how good it all tasted. There was not a single thing that we didn’t like, absolutely amazing, we’ve definitely found our new favourite takeaway!
